Author
ELWIN TOBING is an associate professor of Economics at Azusa Pacific University, California. He got his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Iowa and his M.Sc. in Economic Policy and Planning from Northeastern University in Boston. He was a faculty at the School of Business and Management, California State University Fullerton and had also worked as a consultant at AIG and Arthur D. Little in Boston and Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Living in the US since 1995, he has shared his ideas about Indonesia’s future in Indonesian newspapers such as Kompas and the Jakarta Post for the last 15 years.
